I would say monk or warrior. Monk, just because. And warrior because they can do so much to various effect, VwK, 55, or just have high armour and bash things.
The W/Rt is so effective, fool proof and resilient, they dont have many counters.
Maybe Rit.

You don't get any significant healing until you're casting 25e spells, tbh, and that's at 12 energy storage...

At 3 energy storage, you get 202% of the energy cost back in health. For a 10 energy spell, such as stoneflesh aura, 2 second cast time, you get 20,2 health - this is equal to a +5 pipe health regeneration for 2 seconds. (if 1 second cast time, the regeneration would be +10 for one second)
Note that if you cast 10 energy spells repetetive, you should have a natural +10 health regeneration, which, is more then enough.
This is only my oppinion, and everyone can think for themselves. Note that the maths are surprising
(and guess how much you would get with 12 energy storage ^_^)

Orite, farming forum, my bad.
In that case, AoR is suck because you can't instantly counter degen like you can with flat regen. (Watch me go!)
